Being an artist interested in Fantasy art, but with a foot in both traditional painting and digital painting, I wanted to highlight this weekends trawl of the net by the RUBooks blog team.
Multiple award-winning artist Donato Giancola, a traditional artist whos work extends into the realm of fantasy and who is at the top of his game. For me, this artist highlights that traditional painting, with a fantasy edge, is still alive and kicking. There is so much excellent digital work around that we should not forget that traditional artists like Donato Giancola produce some stunning work, which put them at the top of their game and an inspiration to many.
